Biography:
Shawn Bausman is an Associate Director at AT&T, where he leads Wi-Fi and Neutral Host technology initiatives within Global Connections Management. With 19 years of experience at AT&T, Shawn is responsible for developing and expanding Wi-Fi strategies for large permanent venues, temporary event deployments, Passpoint Wi-Fi roaming, and CBRS-based neutral host solutions. He oversees sourcing and expansion efforts to deliver innovative wireless solutions.
In his current role, Shawn is focused on growing and expanding Wi-Fi Passpoint and CBRS NH MOCN (a shared wireless network solution for improved in-building coverage) footprint, driving large-scale in-building coverage, and enabling seamless Wi-Fi experiences through strong venue and aggregator partnerships. Previously, Shawn led high-impact programs including new cell tower builds, FirstNet network builds, international wireless roaming, deployment of new wireless technologies, IoT partnerships, accounting, and alternative deployment models—delivering industry-leading coverage, market-disrupting project execution, and significant cost efficiencies across global markets.
Shawn holds a BBA from The University of Toledo, with a focus on International Business and Finance, supporting his work across global partnerships, board memberships, contract negotiations, and large-scale wireless investment decisions.
Beyond AT&T, Shawn has been married to his wife Amanda for 18 years and is the proud father of two boys, Wesley and Baker. Much of his free time is spent watching his sons play their favorite sport—soccer/fútbol—riding dirt bikes, and cheering them at tournaments, including one in Portugal (Vamos Benfica!!!).
