Michael was appointed in May 2018 to build a new Strategy & Transformation unit within BT. In this role, Michael is responsible for pan-BT Business Strategy and driving transformational programmes for BT. He is considered to be an industry expert in network telecommunications and enterprise software; and has published leading strategies on improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Michael has a strong pedigree as a trusted advisor to many of the world’s most respected technology, media and telecommunications companies, and joined BT from management consulting and business strategy firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG); where he was a lead Partner for BCG’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications Practice. Before BCG he spent nearly eight years as Executive Vice President at enterprise software company Viewlocity.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Michael received his MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business and also holds a BS in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Duke University.
