Biography:

Jeff Platon is Vice President of Marketing at Wi-Fi Alliance, where he leads global marketing strategy, brand development, and market engagement to advance the adoption and success of Wi-Fi technologies worldwide. In his role, Jeff oversees the teams responsible for commercialization of Wi-Fi CERTIFIED® programs, member engagement, and demand generation. He plays a key role in ensuring Wi-Fi Alliance remains the trusted forum where industry challenges are anticipated, addressed, and turned into opportunities for innovation.

A seasoned marketing and communications leader, Jeff brings extensive experience guiding global technology organizations through transformation and growth. Prior to joining Wi-Fi Alliance, Jeff held senior marketing leadership roles at companies including Accuris, Hoxhunt, Cisco, and McAfee, where he led global go-to-market strategy, brand repositioning, and integrated communications initiatives that supported high-growth product portfolios and strategic business expansion.

Jeff is passionate about advancing technologies that connect and empower people, driving collaboration across the Wi-Fi ecosystem, and strengthening the organization’s role as an advocate for unlicensed spectrum and industry innovation.  Jeff completed executive MBA programs at London Business School and MIT Sloan. He lives with his family in Dallas, TX and is an avid pickleball player.
