Dr. Hideaki Goto

Associate Professor, Cyberscience Center of Tohoku University

Biography:

Hideaki Goto (PhD) is an Associate Professor at Cyberscience Center of Tohoku University, Japan. His research interests include pattern recognition, wireless network, identity federation, and information security. He is working with National Institute of Informatics (NII) for the eduroam operation in Japan, and has also been a member of the Global eduroam Governance Committee (GeGC) at GÉANT. He is a founder as well as a main developer of the Cityroam federation, and has been working in the collaborative development of secure roaming system at the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) since 2017. He is a member of IPSJ, IEICE, and IEEE Computer Society.
