Biography:

Mr. Felipe Rangel is responsible for the Wi-Fi vision in all Tigo – Millicom Operations in Latin America, Mr, Rangel is also responsible for transforming the customer experience in the use of Wi-Fi technology, ensuring the wireless connection to the for Internet service. He has a leading role in the CPE homologation with an emphasis in Wi-Fi. He also leads Wi-Fi platform projects and initiatives to bring Wi-Fi understanding to Tigo customers.

Felipe has 19 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry. He had a technical leading role in key projects such as public Wi-Fi zones deployment in Medellín parks and other cities in Colombia.  Mr Rangel is always searching for solutions for the common Wi-Fi problems that affect user experience specially in the challenging condition of Latinoamerica due to the type of constructions in the region.

Mr Rangel is a Telecommunications Engineer with Wi-Fi certifications including the SPSMCELL (Service Provider Mobile Unlicensed Small Cell Solutions) and the CWNA (Certified Wireless Network Administrator) certification.
