Biography:

Dan Harkness is a well-known fixture in the wireless telecom industry. A former engineer and sales leader turned company founder, Dan has a successful track record of using his highly technical background and industry relationships to solve complex wireless challenges.  

Dan has spent almost two decades working across all facets of the wireless ecosystem – with commercial carrier, OEM, enterprise and third-party operator experience, Dan has career sales of more than $2 billion in wireless solutions.  

In 2016, Dan founded Quantum Wireless to address a gaping need in the wireless industry. Frustrated by existing business models, he developed a simple, cost-effective way to deploy wireless infrastructure solutions. Quantum secured its private equity funding in late 2017.

Prior to founding Quantum, Dan was Vice President, Wireless Solutions at Mobilitie, where he led the third-party operator’s wireless business unit. He has also held carrier sales management roles with ADRF and Commscope, and various engineering and technical sales roles with Sprint.  

Dan earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (specializing in RF) from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
