Cole Reinwand oversees Comcast’s XFINITY WiFi program, representing the largest carrier-operated WiFi network in the world, with over 18 million hotspots. He is a key architect of the Cable WiFi alliance, a collaboration between US cable companies to extend WiFi availability across geographic footprints. Mr. Reinwand also sits on the Board of Directors of the Wireless Broadband Alliance, a consortium of global wireless network operators focused on specifications to guide carrier-grade WiFi deployment and interoperability. Prior to Comcast, Cole founded EarthLink’s municipal WiFi business, a recognized pioneer in large-scale WiFi deployment in cities across the US. Mr. Reinwand has a BS degree from MIT and an MBA from UCLA.
