Chris Busch

Solution Engineering, Telecom Infra Project

Biography:

Chris Busch is driving technology direction for the TIP Open Wi-Fi Project Group. In this role he is helping foster a community eco system of open source partners in cloud WLAN control and disaggregated white box access point platforms.

Mr. Busch has previously held engineering leadership roles as Engineering Fellow ARRIS/CommScope, as Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Incognito Software Systems, where he managed the direction of its technology innovation as well as its product investment and portfolio.

Mr. Busch has taken an active leadership role in numerous industry positions over the last 20 years, including provisioning and activation standards at CableLabs, Broadband Forum, and TMForum. He’s also has spoken at SCTE and TMForum events on a variety of industry topics including Wi-Fi management, Distributed Access, Function Virtualization, IPv6 implementation, IPTV, Commercial Services, and OSS Orchestration.

Mr. Busch studied Computer Science at Athabasca University.
