Biography:

20+ years of experience in Telecom operators Networks. Long track record in Global/Groups functions, driving technology strategy, architecture and investment optimisation across many National operators. Diverse experience covering all Network domains, enabled him to deliver on E2E Network Architecture and have a strong holistic view of the technology Strategy.

Ahmed has acquired experience in Mobile and Fixed Network, that has triggered his current responsibility as VP Network convergence in DT since 2019. There are other areas of experience that he have gained over the past 21 years, around Network Security, Wi-Fi technologies and delivering end customers services. Inspired by his MBA studies, Ahmed focus was and remains balanced between business value and technology excellence, striving to strike the required balance between them.
