Directions Guide for WGC EMEA 2026 – Vienna
We are looking forward to meeting you in Vienna on October 12-15. To help you find us and to navigate around, we have put together this short guide.
Directions assume you are staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Vienna Prater/Messe, so please use the addresses if you are staying elsewhere.

WGC EMEA – OCTOBER 12-13 – WORKING SESSIONS AT VIECON – Vienna Congress & Convention Centre
On October 12-13, the WGC EMEA Members’ Working Sessions will be held at the VIECON – Vienna Congress & Convention Center in the Schubert Rooms (1, 2 and 3 combined).
Address: Messepl. 1, 1020 Wien, Austria
Walk from the Courtyard by Marriott Vienna Prater/Messe to the Foyer A of the Conference Centre – this will take about 10 minutes.
Instructions:
Step 1: Exit the Hotel and Head North
Exit the main entrance of the Courtyard by Marriott Vienna Prater/Messe.
Turn right onto the wide pedestrian pathway/sidewalk along Trabrennstraße, heading northeast.
Step 2: Pass Messe Wien Hall D
Continue straight along the path, keeping the large Messe Wien Hall D building immediately on your left.
As you approach the corner of the building, you will turn left, aligning you with the main pedestrian promenade running parallel to Vorgartenstraße.
Step 3: Follow the Promenade
Walk straight down the long, wide pedestrian avenue.
You will quickly pass the Krieau U-Bahn station (U2 line) on your right. Keep heading straight past the station entrances.
You will pass Messe Wien Hall C and the Presse Center on your left. There will also be signs to follow to the “VIECON Messe Wien Eingang A”.
Step 4: Arrive at the VIECON Entrance
Continue straight until you reach the end of the promenade. Veer slightly left to approach the main glass doors of Foyer A.
Step 5: Getting to Schubert Rooms
Step through the doors into the open registration lobby. Collect your WGC EMEA @ Network X badge from the designated registration desks, as marked. Once you have collected your badge, continue straight ahead down the main ground-floor hallway. Do not take any stairs or elevators.
Step 5 continued:
Go through the mall and turn left on the third door following signs to the “Congress Center”.
You will find yourself in an open lobby area. Head to the right. Make your way toward the main staircase or the adjacent passenger elevators.
Take the stairs or the elevator up to Level 1 (1st Floor).
Once you reach the top of the stairs/exit the elevator on Level 1, you will be right by the main Congress Center corridor.
The Schubert Rooms (1 through 6) and the Schubert Foyer are located right there on this level. Follow the overhead digital signs directing you down the hallway to your specific Schubert breakout room.
Schubert 1, 2 and 3 will be used for the Working Sessions on October 12-13. Schubert 4 will be used for the board meeting on October 13.

WGC EMEA – OCTOBER 14-15 – OPEN CONGRESS AT VIECON – Vienna Congress & Convention Centre
On October 14-15, the WGC EMEA Open Conference will be held at the VIECON – Vienna Congress & Convention Center in rooms Strauss 1 & 2.
Address: Messepl. 1, 1020 Wien, Austria
Walk from the Courtyard by Marriott Vienna Prater/Messe to the Foyer A of the Conference Centre – this will take about 10 minutes.

Step through the doors into the open registration lobby. Collect your WGC EMEA @ Network X badge from the designated registration desks, as marked. Once you have collected your badge, continue straight ahead down the main ground-floor hallway. Do not take any stairs or elevators.
Keep walking straight down the main hallway following the signs for Hall B. The Strauss Area is located directly on this level, and you will find the entrance doors for Strauss 1 on the left-hand side – opposite the 2nd entrance for Hall B.
STRAUSS 1 & 2 WILL BE USED FOR THE OPEN CONGRESS ON OCTOBER 14-15. HALL B WILL BE USED FOR THE EXPO AND IS DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE STRAUSS AREA.
