Based out of a remote office in Orlando, Florida, Rohan Jani is responsible for overseeing the Guest Technology function across the Hyatt enterprise. He has over 15 years of experience gained while working across the USA, and EMEA regions managing various functions such as Digital Product Strategy, Design Services, Openings & Transitions, etc. Rohan has been responsible for architecting Hyatt’s global hotel technology standards and opening over 100 hotels over his career managing owners’ technology budgets in upwards of $250 million. As a senior executive within the technology organization, he provides internal guidance to various cross-functional departments such as digital, analytics, software development, cybersecurity, network & infrastructure operations, finance, marketing and legal. Rohan is also an advisor to senior real estate development teams on potential hotel acquisition opportunities. He is a trusted advisor to multiple ownership groups and operators within the USA and abroad on their technology capital planning and investments. Rohan also provides leadership in Hyatt’s digital strategy and loyalty App development working through a team of iOS, Android, back/front end developers, and project managers to deploy Hyatt’s loyalty programs such as digital key, content streaming, App check-in, etc. Rohan currently manages over 40 external vendors, manufacturers, and contractors. He provides strategic direction and sits on the advisory board of key hotel technology providers along with a leading role within HTNG organization.
