Geordie Hagerman

Biography:

Geordie Hagerman is a strategic senior executive with experience in marketing, sales, product management, operations oversight, and corporate development in the wireless and high-tech industries. He is a results-oriented and approachable leader with a proven track record of successfully communicating and selling complex software in the telecommunications market. These days, Geordie enjoys collaborating with cutting-edge innovators to help bring their new products to market. He strives to create novel and ground-breaking technological solutions that can improve the lives of millions of users daily.

Geordie graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration, where he gained a solid foundation in operations management, analysis, strategy, and finance. Geordie’s professional highlights include his time as Pravala Networks’ VP of Business Development. He oversaw business development, marketing, fundraising, and sales efforts, and substantially contributed to Pravala’s strategic plan and roadmap. In February 2016, he was instrumental in negotiating the successful sale of Pravala to Carnegie Technologies. Geordie led global business development in the mobility business unit after joining the new Carnegie team, with a focus on selling network convergence platform products to global mobile network operators and cable companies. Geordie brings a wealth of management knowledge to the table with over 12 years of professional experience as a technology executive leading a diverse, competitive team.

Geordie currently leads commercialization and marketing at Cognitive, with a focus on partnerships and product roadmap strategy. He is a business and partner development expert who excels at delivering commercial success through the strategic recruitment, development, and motivation of cross-functional teams. Geordie recognized an opportunity in WiFi Motion to unlock new services in WiFi and was eager to guide it into market. He is always concerned with the success of his customers, the development and mentoring of team members, and the delivery of shareholder value. Geordie has high expectations for the teams and products he manages. He envisions himself as a future CEO leading an organization to continued growth and financial success.
