Bahar Sadeghi

Research Scientist, Intel Corporation

Biography:

Bahar Sadeghi is a senior research scientist and standards engineer at Intel Corporation. She joined Intel in 2004 and since then has been an active participant in and contributor to various standardization organizations including IEEE 802.11, WFA, WBA, ITU-T, WiGig Alliance, WiMax Forum, 3GPP and the USB-IF. For the past five years she has been leading the IoT and V2X connectivity standardization activities for Intel Corporation and has held multiple related standard leadership positions, including the Chair of the IoT Low Power Technical Task Group and the Vice-Chair of the IoT Market Segment Task Group in WFA, and the Technical Editor of the Next Generation V2X Task Group in IEEE 802.11. In WBA, she has been a key contributor to and has served as the co-Lead of the IoT, Connected Vehicle, and Wi-Fi Sensing projects, and currently serves as the co-Chair of IoT Work Group. Bahar received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University, Houston, TX, and is the holder of more than 50 patents.
